Poland Voivodeships Quiz — Rules & What Counts
Poland has 16 voivodeships. A voivodeship is the largest unit of local government in Poland. This quiz shows a blank map of Poland. You type the name of each voivodeship, and the map colors that area in place.
The quiz shows English names, such as Masovian and Lesser Poland. The Polish name, such as Mazowieckie and Małopolskie, counts too.
How to play
Type names in any order. A correct name colors the voivodeship on the map at once.
You can start to type right away. You do not need to click the answer box first.
English and Polish names both count. "Silesian" and "Śląskie" score the same voivodeship.
Polish letters are not required. "Lodz" counts for Łódź, and "Slaskie" counts for Śląskie.
A timer tracks your run. The quiz saves your best score and best time.
If you are stuck, use the give up button. The map then shows the voivodeships you missed.

The current 16 voivodeships date from a reform in 1999. Before it, Poland had 49 smaller ones.
