Land each item in the right country — the exact spot inside it doesn't matter.
Rules & what counts
TV Filming Locations — Place 24 TV Shows on the Map
This quiz asks where a TV show was shot. The map shows 24 empty circles. The tray holds 24 TV shows. You drag each show onto the circle that marks the place where its camera crew worked.
The places are real and several of them became famous through their shows. Dubrovnik's old town, the Albuquerque desert, the Louvre and a fjord town in east Iceland are all in the quiz.
The tokens show the title of each show as text. No token uses a poster or a still, because TV artwork is under copyright and cannot be licensed for this site.
How to play
Drag a TV show from the tray onto a circle on the map.
A correct drop locks the show onto its circle and shows the place.
A wrong drop returns the show to the tray. You can try it again.
You can zoom the map and move it while you play.
Your score is the number of shows you place correctly. The maximum score is 24.
What counts in this quiz
The place where the show was really shot, not the place where its story is set. Chernobyl's circle sits in Lithuania, because the series was shot in Vilnius and at the Ignalina nuclear plant.
The main location for each show. Many large shows shoot in several countries, and the quiz uses the one the show is known for — The Witcher's circle is Budapest, where season one was made.
24 shows in 24 different countries. Each circle is its own target, so no two shows are interchangeable.
What's not included — and why
A show set in a place it never visited is not in the quiz. The question is where the camera stood.
Animated shows are not in the quiz. A drawn or computer-made show has no camera location.
Studio work is not counted. Many of these shows built interior sets at home and shot only their exteriors at the place on the map.
Good to know
Dubrovnik played King's Landing in Game of Thrones, and the city now runs daily tours of the filming spots.
Chernobyl was shot at the Ignalina plant in Lithuania — a real reactor of the same type as the one that exploded.
Breaking Bad made Albuquerque a tourist destination. The car wash and the chicken restaurant from the show are real businesses.
Maya Bay in Thailand closed over crowds from a movie. Ko Samui, one island over, hosted The White Lotus instead.
